I have Windows 7 64-bit. I installed the Nook Study and typed both my email address and password correctly, but it wouldn't let me login. It kept giving me this red X next to the password box.
Solution: Change your password to all lower case letters with no numbers and no symbols.
Now, I'm able to log in and access my text book!
