Why did they do away with the voice feature?

I use the voice feature to do other things while listening to my text read. My computer needed to be reformatted so I lost the old version. I installed the new one and was very disappointed. Can I download old versions of this app? If so can anyone provide a locations. Thanks in advance.

Hi James, did you go back into the Library and select the settings gear and under Accessibility enable Text to Speech?  Once you do that, you should have no problem listening to your books again.  Please remember that not all eBook formats do not support TTS.
