Words about e-text and B&N

Well was getting my few books that the collage has mad for the school only. Was talking to the store manger, who seem's to know the two question I am always asking him.

1. when you getting apple notebooks, and ipads in.

2. what going on with Nook Study for the (Nook, Android, and Ipad)

Sad I do not even have to ask him anymore, but from what he told me, it's going to be while for the Nookstudy to hit (Nook, Android, and Ipad). Like a few years from what he told me, due to legalities of copyright laws and venders, and adobe. Here the said part I took my Tablet with me to show him my 4 out of 6 course the digital copy on android from the publisher of the books and half or almost half off B&N price at the campus store.. And I have now my Textbooks on my Android powerd tablet.

And as far as apple goes the manger tells me the same sorry story, we can not sell apples PC because we are not autherized. Funny thing is accourding to a Apple Rep, that is not true and B&N campus stores does sell Apple PC at certain school.

Like I said in other posting I bought my textbooks online cheaper and in digital form for my Tablet (android) wich also works with Ipad. Eyeing up my new Apple Powerbook might have to wait but that ok, atleast I have what I wanted.  So if I figure this out B&N campus store will lost now close to $2,500 this term from me, all because they never listen to the customer.. As far as my Nook I bought my GF I sold it on ebay and bought her a Kindle Fire. Realy nice part is they have a site to share books and barrow books from other people for free. Also books are half off the price of B&N.

My advice to the readers if you want a Tablet buy a Ipad, you want nice e-reader buy a Kindle Fire.

If you want your text books to work on a Tablet like a Ipad or Androidor even Kindle Fire check online either with the publisher or other sites, there are apps to work on these devices, and it works, and cheaper not years from now but now. See this is what is known as Companies that listen to the customers, and see a need to meet there customer needs and do it..

Now Barnes and Noble you listening, or you just going to end up like Beta tapes, HD-DVD, Amega  PC, Media Play, and so on.
