The Lost City

I am soooo stuck on this app. I am still on the very first puzzle grid.

Any tips would be appreciated.

There is no user guide/hints.

Re: The Lost City

The very first puzzle, the one with the grid of boxes you have to press certain ones?  Go 2 screens to the left (I think - going by memory) and there's a pattern on the wall.  Go back to the right to the grid of boxes & duplicate that pattern.

REALLY fun game!

There is a grid on the door...is that what you are referring to??

I studied all of the surrounding walls until I am crosseyed.

Re: The Lost City

If we are thinking of the same puzzle, open your map - the room/screen labeled "1" has a stone lion on the left.  On the wall on the back you will see a tiny pattern of squares in the middle.  Go back to screen 3, two screens to the right, and press only the buttons/squares to duplicate that pattern.  It looks like - top row, buttons 2 & 3 are darkened, etc.  Then the door will open.

Re: The Lost City

Well I archived it and unarchived it.

I started from the very beginning reading the story intro.

The very next thing is a walled yard.

I can click to open the brick wall...only to find a door with a grid on it.

There was/is no lion head, nor is there any sort of a map. When I click on the leather bag, two small windows appear numbered 2 and 3.

When I close that window, I arrive right back at the wall with the grid.

I have tapped on the grid and there is the first puzzle.

I have studied looking for a pattern all over.

No lion head associated with the first puzzle.

Re: The Lost City

I need screen shots, lol.

OK.  So from the very first screen, the one labeled 2 - if you go up/forward through the bricks, is that where you are having the issue - at the spiral snakes puzzle?

Or, if you're on screen 2 & click on the right side of the screen to go to screen 3 where there is a 4x4 grid of pressable blocks, is that the one you're stuck on?  That's the one I was referring to.

If you are on the first screen labeled 2 & click on the shadowy door looking space at the very left of the screen, you will go to screen 1 which is where there is a pattern on the wall & the stone lion.

Re: The Lost City

There are over twenty scences to this puzzle. This may take some time. Note on navigation to go to prior scenes upward dwipe from bottom to top. The above is correct for solving first puxxel

Re: The Lost City

OMG...thank you all so much. I am at the doorway with a female statue pointing to the heart..

I see where my mistake was. I never knew about clicking to the left of the screen therefore, never exposed the lion screen to get my grid pattern.

So I put the heart in place and it's raining.

No snakes yet??

Re: The Lost City

Not sure how to change the Subject line.

Perhaps Alex can do it for us.
