Mine too.  I'm completely sick of all the child apps.

Re: no new apps?

Actually I manage to fine at lease 2 - 5 apps each week that proves to be interesting. While quite a bit of the new apps are for kids, there are also quite a few that appeal to any age. I have about 96 apps of which about 15 are my hardcore apps that I use to take care business needs. I have about 25 apps I which in my opinion are very good game apps. Now I have a lot duplicate function apps, that came about because I was trying to fine the best app for the job. This is not to say that BN does not have a long way to, but you can get some basic needs taken care of while you wait for different apps. No matter what anyone says there are some very goods games for all ages. There are a couple of app manager in the new batch off apps, looks pretty good.
Everyone says that they are listening but, no one remembers what was said.

I agree with the poster who said that most of the apps are useless. Most of them are apps for preschoolers or book apps. What happened to Plants vs Zombies? And why do the hidden object games come in two parts? On every other device there is one app for the whole game!

Useless ? I beg to differ :smileywink:

Big Fish Games splits the app to preserve "space" in regard to the Nook Color. To have BFG on board BN is most excellent. They are not on Amazon.

So useless is subjective, especially with the high quality fart app this week !

If any of you doubt the power of Big Fish Games to single handedly turn this app store around, take a peek :

http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/big-fish-games-inc/id292594310

Better support this company, instead of moaning and whineing

Oh yea, and a lil ol' co. called Gameloft as well, which havent updated here since it posted 4 measly offerings.

If you support Gameloft, you can have this :

http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/gameloft/id282764297?mt=8

On your Nook

151 top tier games both free and paid - thats 10% of BN entire store from one dev.

Re: no new apps?

The only useful application I found in this update was "Twitter". Everything else with childish and simply crap. I do support the company but they need to start getting more popular and useful application dev's on board.

Re: no new apps?

I simply don't understand why so many apps are geared toward children.  Glad I can access the market with my n2a card instead.
