Re: Reader Centric vs. App Centric

I just put Newsstand into a folder on my iPhone4 and my iPad. You have to move fast. Once you have created the folder (by moving one app on top of another) *quickly* grab Newsstand and move it on top. It will work.....I promise.

Whoa! It works! :smileyhappy: The trick is you just have to hold down the newsstand icon after the folder is created... The newsstand disappears, but its actually still "in your hand" and you let go to drop it in place in the newly formed folder... Nice! Hope they do not *fix* this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujTDVgReBUQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player

See......I promised you it would work. :-) But I was able to get it into the folder without it disappearing. I didn't move it after the folder is opened. Will Newsstand show up when you do a search for the app since its hidden?

Re: Reader Centric vs. App Centric

What I meant by it disappearing is: it vanishes for a moment while you hold down the icon, then reappears when you let go and it falls into the folder... Once in the folder it works just like any other icon, let's you drag and move it etc.
