Bookmarks for dolphin will not add to my NT home page

I installed Dolphin today.  I noticed that if you press and hold on a bookmark, that a drop down box appears.  One of the options is that the shortcut can be added to the "home page". 

Problem is, my shortcuts do not show up on my "home page" when I do the above. 

Any ideas?

Do you mean your Dolphin home page? The home page is a bookmarked location like yahoo or I Google home, or even this forum, your NT home is not a book marked location.

Well, yes, I am talking about the "home page" for the nook.  If the bookmarks are supposed to go to my "dolphin" home page, they are not doing that either.  I am using my Google account for my home page on dolphin. 

So you are saying that a short cut or bookmark for a web address cannot be placed on the home page (what I usually would call the "desktop") for the nook?

I agree, those are the instructions and I followed them to the letter, but it does not work (for me). No bookmarks appear on the NT home page.  The last line of the instructions say "Everything is done!"...NOT!

Okay been awhile since i used. And gave it a go.

New way since they changed so much. Slide to bookmarks sidebar. Find link in history. Touch and hold selection. Then a pop-up will appear and give you the option to add to home page. Just tried it.

@orb9220...  And did it work?  Did the selected bookmark/short cut appear on your Nook's desktop/homepage?  Because that is what I do and nothing happens. 

I have also sent an inquiry the makers of Dolphin to see if that option is intended to work on the Nook.

Yep bookmark was on home screen. But was on a Nook Color running CM7 SD card.

Which I think is the difference?

orb, if I press and hold a selection in the history portion of the bookmarks sidebar, I don't get the option to add the shortcut to the home page.  However, I do get the option if I press and hold a bookmark, but it doesn't add the shortcut to the home pages.  

Oh, I forgot, I have an NC.  Maybe there is a difference in the Dolphin apps for the NC and NT.

I got the following response from Dolphin support about this issue. 

"I'm afraid we do not support to add bookmarks shortcut to Home on Nook Table, since the OS limitation.

But we will continue optimizing this part and try to find a better way to solve it."

So it looks like it is not possible to add bookmarks to the homepage/desktop on the Nook Tablet via Dolphin.  It's not that big of deal.  I just thought it would be nice to have this option for my most used internet sights.  I still like using Dolphin as my web browser.

It's infortunate that the native NT home strean app won't let you do this.  If you were running Android CM7 off of an SD card, with Go Launcher as the default home screan, you can add web bookmarks to the home screen as shortcuts.
