Color Changes for Fliq Calendar

I am pretty computer savvy, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to change colors on my Fliq Calendar app on my Nook Tablet.  Is this feature only available if you use the Sync feature?  Can I not just make an entry for my daughter and make it a different color?  Please tell me I'm missing something.  Thanks!

Ok, you're missing something.

Open the calender program.  Select the icon at the bottom with the three lines through it (towards the right.)  Select "More"  Select "Calendars"  Then "+Add Calendar".  Give it your daughters name.  Program will auto select a color for it.  Once her calendar has been added, soft select it (gently touch it right over the name) and a pop up should appear giving you the options to 1) Edit Color, 2) Edit Name or 3) Delete Calendar.

Now everytime you enter something to her calendar, they will be the same color.

Another approach would be to use the "categories" function.  You can set the color for each category so your daughter's appointments/events could be categorized as hers and have a differnt color on the calendar.

I don't see "category" anywhere. Can you tell me where this is? I see how to add a calendar but don't see "category". Thanks very much

Thanks a bunch!    I totally missed that Calendar feature.  I thought that would create a new calendar, not combine them into one.  On the Add Event page, only "Missing Sync" was shown, so it never occurred to me that it would be other Calendars in there.  I really appreciate the help.  This will make things SO much easier to track!

Thanks to both of you for your help with Fliq Calendar.  However, I saw the postings for DejaOffice.  It was free so I downloaded it and I have to say, I love it.  It has some features that I thought were lacking in Fliq Calendar.  I can set colors for different people which is great.  I can also do a repeat function for things like Monday, Tuesday, Thursday repeating each week.  Plus the Month view shows text instead of just a blue line (which didn't even change when I added a new calendar to Fliq Calendar).  And I like the alarm better.  But I appreciate your taking the time to post back to me.

"Categories" is used in Fliq Task.  I don't see it in Fliq Calendar either.
