Dolphin Browser - Selecting Text - Color vs.. Tablet

Hey guys. I am a digital sales lead at B&N. I have noticed recently that the "select text" tool on the dolphin web browser works great on the Nook Color but not on the Nook Tablet. Has anyone else experienced this? This is a great tool to copy and paste text but it doesn't even work on the newer tablet...odd. Also as a side note the puffin copy and paste works fine on both. Actually there are several features and color options that are different between the Nook Color and the Nook Tablet.  I am of the opinion that it is because the Color is operating on Android 2.1 and the Tablet on Android 2.3.  Therefore there are likely some commands, calls and color pallet differences that some App developers "miss" when they port their Apps to the Nook family of devices.

That would explain the some of the differences in the apps between the Color and the Tablet. It probably is the developer making it for one of the devices but making it available in the app store for both...However, I believe the nook color is 2.2 https://nookdeveloper.barnesandnoble.com/product/nook-color-specs.html

Thanks for the correction on Android version.  You are correct the NC is operating on 2.2...
