Half white screen

Is my Nook Tablet shot?

The screen started flashing, and the app shortcuts on the desktop looked like a tv with bad reception.  Today, the screen would not stop flashing, and now the top half of the screen is just white.  The bottom half is normal, and if I tap on the top half where an app would be, it works.  Bu no matter what, the top half remains plain white.

Is this something anyone has seen, or is it back to the store with it?  I got it at Christmas.

Ron...I do not remember anyone mentioning what you are describing. I would not fuss any more with it....go to your store. It's still under warranty. Get it replaced.
