How do I remove Hulu & Pandora?

I want to remove Hulu and Pandora. How do I do this?

You can't. Any apps that came pre-installed cannot be deleted.

But I dont want those icons anymore, and they will never be used. Did hulu or pandora subsidize the price reduction or something? Or are we supposed to 'root' the devices just to remove optional 3rd party pay services we dont want?

On the Home Screen, select and HOLD the icon you don't want.  A pop-up box will appear.  Select "Remove from Home"  and these icons will disappear from your home screen.  (They'll remain in your library but you don't have to look at them.)
