Just got a nook tablet and can't get past the intial Wifi set up

I had the nook color and never had any issues with the wifi and setting it up (when i first bought it). I just got the nook tablet and i'm trying to set it up and when i get to the wifi part i put in the password it says it's connected but the button to continue with the registration isn't working.

I deregistered my nook color and then tried to set it up for a friend and i'm also stuck with the wifi.

Can anyone help me please?

try this, hold down the power button until the nook turns off, ignore the screen prompt asking if you want to power down, just keep holding the power buton

power the tablet back on go through the setup again

my nook tablet would connect to my router and then disconnect right away when i was trying to register mine, this worked for me
