MicroSD Card Access from PC to download

How do I download MP4 files to the MicroSD card from a PC? The coonection from PC to NOOK Tablet does not seem to identify the MicroSD card.

tech111;  when you plug the USB cable into your computer you will see two drive letters displayed in separate dialog boxes on your computer.  Selecte the one that is not titled"..My Nook..." that will be the SD card.

I was under the impression that bn books could overflow imto the sd card when the 2 gig fills up. Was I wrong? Can the 8gig tablet be partitioned differently to allow more than 2gig of storage? What content goes automatically to the sd card? I lnow some app data does, how about apps themselves? Clarify please! Van!!
