Nook Playing MP4

OK. I have asked this before but thought I would ask again to see if anything new is out there. I loaded a MP4 onto my nook tablet and the movies plays beautifully.... until about 1hr and 45 mins in. about 3/4 after it has been playing i get a message pop up " can not support video/file" something like that. Why oh Why does this happen? It doesn't happen to all of them. I tried a few others just to check and some play all the way through. AND the files play all the way on my computer.  Help!!  Any suggestions? I love reading my book on the nook but would like to watch a movie too if I need to veg and take a break.   Thanks all

I'm having a similar problem. About 3 days ago, all of my videos played beautifully and now NONE, I repeat, NONE of them work! What is happening?

Check the file size of the MP4 file.  If it is 2 Gb or more it is not supported on most Adroid devices, including the Nook Color and Tablet.  You can re convert the file to attain a file size of less than 2 Gb.

If they worked before, likely the video playback part stopped working. Did you try turning off your NOOK and then turn it back on, to see if that makes a difference?
