Does anyone know how many watts the NT is? I want to take my NT overseas with me this summer and will need to recharge it. The voltage converter I have is for 50W-1875W. Will it be safe to use?

The Nook specific charger out puts 5 V at 1.9 Amps. I think you really want to know that the standard Nook charger input is 120 Volt AC (50 or 60 cycle). So if you are visiting a country that uses 240 Volt AC you will want an adapter that reduces that house current to 120 AC at 50 or 60 cycles. Everythiing else will be fine.

The standard Nook Tablet charger is an adapter and works from 100v to 240 v and 50/60 hv.
It works fine in Europe. No need for a voltage adapter....but maybe a plug adapter to fit into the wall plug.
