I just recently bought a Nook Tablet, and I am loving it so far. It was an upgrade from a Nook Color. Today I went to load some content onto my Nook Color by my computer won't see it anymore. My computer will see the Nook Tablet just fine, and when I plug my Nook color into my server computer that computer will dectect it, but the computer that had the Nook Tablet plugged into it will not see it. I tried restarting the computer, factory resetting the Nook Color. No luck. Any ideas?

I had the same problem today. I tried with my desktop and laptop but couldn't access my Nook on either one. What's the problem and more importantly, what's the fix?

This will be a PITA if you're swapping back and forth between the two, but it should work. While the tablet is plugged in and showing in device manager, uninstall the device and if Windows asks, tell it to remove drivers or files associated with device. If you then plug in the NC, it should be recognized.

I had that problem FOR MONTHS!! I tried different computers (once I got lucky, it recognized it and then an hour later I plugged it back in and no more!) I checked all the blogs, I went to the store, they were puzzled because it worked when they hooked it up to their computer. But I had a thought, they used their cord. I finally decided to try the Nook Color cord that is in my car for charging while driving. BINGO! All it needed was a new cord. Now it works perfect on every computer I plug it into. I never thought to check it because it recharges just fine and the cord appears perfectly normal.
Hope this helps someone.
