Sure, but you still have to do the loan on a computer, not the Kindle. The only difference between the two is ADE.


That is not true.  I have the Overdrive app on my iPod Touch.  I can go to my library from the app and check out books and download them to the Overdrive app and read them.  I never have to turn on my computer.  I really would love to have this feature on my Nook Tablet.

It is true... because he was referring to the Kindle... not an iPod Touch

Sorry, I guess I mis-read that.  Although, I was browsing my library site on the overdrive app on my ipod touch and inadvertantly checked out the kindle version of a book.  So I just went to the kindle app and read it on my iPod.  I never did go to my computer.  Don't get me wrong, I love my Nook Tablet.  But I don't use my computer that much anymore, so I am considering rooting to get the overdrive app.  Wish I didn't have to do that.
