I subscribe to a weekly diet service that sends my plan as a PDF file. They recently switched to Adobe X and now the NT won't read the files. I have OfficePro and I ran an update but still no luck. Now I admit I am more than a little hopeless with computers - I like the NT because it is simple, like me, ;D Anyroad, I'd rather not deal with an N2A card. Does anyone know of any PDF apps that WILL read Adobe X files? No,I have not tried downloading the official Adobe X reader to the NT - I suspect it won't work without a N2A card. I do have a labor intensive work copy/paste work=around, but it only works for the recipes not all the commentary included.

Is the pdf file DRM-free? If so, try eZpdf reader. I don't know "for sure" if it will open up documents created with Adobe X, but I would be surprised if it doesn't. It's a very good app and the developer has made a lot of useful improvements to it in the past year or so.

I would contact the service that you are getting the pdf files from. They made a change to their service and you might not be the only one having issues. They may be more interested in keeping you happy and finding a solution!
