Page Numbers / Title Color - 1.43 Update

My nook updated without any problems.  My only 'complaint' is that the page numbers and title color is now permanently black when reading.  The page number / title of book used to match the color of the text.  I use the mocha theme in the evenings and the page numbers are not white anymore, same when using night (black) theme.

I have the same problem with my Nook Color. As I use mine mostly in low-light conditions it would be nice to have the papge-count readable again.

Any Nook devs/engineers reading this know how to fix the problem?

I'm glad that I am not the only one this is bothering. I have a visual impairment and use the black background with white lettering to be able to actually read. When this upgrade was pushed, unexpectedly, to me I was a little disturbed. I prefer OKing an update if somethin is not right. After it completed I ended up with the dark numbers on a dark background. Having limited vision it is impossibe to see now. I went through different display & font settings and could not get back the light on black page numbers.

B&N give us direction on how to revert back to how it was or fix the upgrade - not it all pleased right now....
