Scrabble issues

Is anyone else having problems with Scrabble? It takes atleast 3 tries for it to load and not drop back to the "home screen". The first attempt loads the splash screen, then main menu and then drops to the home screen. The second attempt I get to actually choose a game already started and then it drops back to the home screen. The final attempt actually goes all the way to the game loading and I can actually play.

Not having any problems at all with Scrabble--just played a move and all is working great. Sorry that's not much help!

Try archiving and unarchiving your copy of Scrabble to download a new copy (just in case the one you have is glitched).

You can add me and several other people to the list of having problems with Scrabble. I will get kicked out over and over and I have even had it freeze my Nook, where I coldn't turn it on, that scared me. I archived then unarchived and I still have issues. I had the game freeze twice after I unarchived.

There are also people on the reviews complaining it kicks them out back to the home page.

I wish I knew how to fix it. I really love the game. I planned on contacting the developers but haven't had time and figure company is probably too big to make it priority.

Having several issues with mine as well:

• Kicks me back to the home screen at random points in the game
• Some games lock up altogether and I have to power off my nook to get back to the home screen
• I cannot play any games with anyone on line because the main menu screen always fails to update (is just sits there saying it's updating but it never finishes)
• I get to a certain point in a game, it kicks me back to the home screen, I go back in to the game, it lays the tiles of the last move played and promptly kicks back to the home screen. It does that until I delete the game and start a new one.

I have archived and un-archived the game, but to no avail.

The crazy thing is... my wife has the scrabble app on her nook as well and she has no issues with it whatsoever!

Any ideas?????

Just to throw in my two cents worth...I have Scrabble...first had it on my Nook Color and now have it on my Nook Tablet and have never had an issue (knocking on wood here!)  My best friend, who I play with all the time has it on her Nook Color, and has frequent issues with it either knocking her out of the game or not updating, and also will not let her start a new game.  Not sure what the trouble is, but just wanted to throw our experience into the mix here.

Posted on the EA Help forum yesterday. Got a response stating there's an update "coming soon" which "should" fix the problem.

I'll keep this forum posted with what's going on at the EA help forums.

Well....looks like I've jinxed myself by saying here that I haven't had any problems with Scrabble.  I was kicked out Friday night back to the apps screen several times, and then when I would try to go back in I couldn't get in and the updating showed that I had no games going on even though I did.  The weird thing is that my friend who I was playing with would get kicked out of the game at the same time.  I do hope this gets fixed by EA.

I haven't been able to play Scrabble (paid BN app) on my NT for a few weeks now. Very aggravating.

OK... so the new version is out... I updated my scrabble... similar problems are still occuring but there's a workaround to get your games to update at least:

• Load scrabble
• Go to the settings screen
• Go to the "Completed Games"
• Wait for the completed games list to appear.
• Close the completed games list
• Go back to the main menu,
• Your games should now update

At any point in time during this procedure I've been kicked out a few times. Most of the time it works just fine.

Thanks, BA.  I had no problem with my NT but my husband's had the same issues listed here.  I kept looking for a solution and tried what you suggested and so far it working fine.  I did get kicked out once or twice but after that it seems to be back to normal.  Thanks for a solution when no one seemed to know what to do.  You did good.

I've had the problem for a while.  I always load a new game against a random opponent, then quit that game right away, and usually it works from there...sometimes the main screen won't update...but it rotates between the games

Deleted first game I bought.  Just downloaded new game.  Went into options and it won't let me turn off my SFX!!  Takes forever to load.  If you log out of origins, it won't let you stay logged in to Facebook.  I don't understand connection between Origins and Facebook. What is going on with this app!! I have emailed and waiting for a note back from EA games. This is my favorite game and can't believe it is this much hassle.

I am still having Scrabble issues.  It will not log in.  I've archived, deleted, repurchased, and reinstalled.  Is there a fix.

I am also having Scrabble not longing on.  I've done everything included deleting and repurchasing.  Very disappointing.  I really enjoyed.  EA please fix your product.

Same here for the last 3 days. Can't log on at all - keeps saying "Something went wrong." Any ideas?

Same here for past two days - says updating and spinning, but not loading online games.

I was able to play in single player node - (I kept my wifi on to see if that would eventually get my online games to load, but it was still spinning after an hour.

I also archived and unarchived - still no good.

This morning at about 5:00 AM (Eastern Time) I tried it and my games loaded.   I thought I was set, but I just tried again now and it is just spinning.

Could the problem be thier servers?????

I can't even download it, it won't run on Nook HD+
