Speaker not working

I got my Nook Tabet for Christmas. Today I noticed I wasn't getting any sound from one of my games. Headphones work fine but I'm getting nothing from the speaker. I restarted it but nothing. Is there an easy fix or is B&N going to have to replace it?

I assume you've checked other audio features and those aren't working either. If that is a correct assumtion try a factory reset and if you still get nothing then contact your local store or the Customer Service line and ask them about a replacement.

What software version are you using?

Some people's minds are like cement; all mixed up and permanently set.

I'm not sure what happened but when I checked it Friday morning before work it still wasn't working. When I checked it after work it was working. While it was not working I had triple checked all the audio options to make sure I hadn't switched anything off by accident. I don't know what happened but I hope it doesn't happen again.

Tap the battery icon in the bottom right corner of your nook and see if you have the mute setting turned on. Uncheck it if it is checked, and see if that fixes it...
