I tried to order a Nook Tablet to a friend in Poland and I'm getting this message:
In compliance with shipping regulations, some item(s) in your order cannot be sent to Gda?sk in Poland.
Please provide another address below or edit your shopping bag to remove the following item(s):
NOOK Tablet - 16GB
Is there a reason? I'm not seeing a trade embargo.

Have you looked to see if it's on the commerce control list? I'm not sure if lists specific products or just "types" of products. It might be that the dual core chip (or some other component) is restricted from export.
Or, it could just be a B&N thing about shipping out of country.

BN doesn't ship NOOK units to the EU (I'd assume it's because BN hasn't submitted the NOOK for EMC testing to the EU yet). For now.
