I cannot get the book I purchased to download on my computer either. Please share how you did this. I already downloaded the Nook for PC program.

Same error here as well. But the weird thing is that I have downloaded other books with no problems.
I already uninstalled and re-installed OR logged out and logged in (however you wish to say it) and it did NOT help.
I can still access my books online so I am reading it there for the time being.
BUT, since this error has been going on for over 24 hours... you'd think B&N would have a fix already. :/

Same problem here. I erased my nook and now have NO books. Grr... I work the graveyard shift, and have nothing to read duing down time.
So, don't reset, you'll have nothing.

Alex, the NOOK Forum Moderator, is stuck at home without power due to the hurricane.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but this issue has now been resolved.

Not solved for everyone. . . . I still cannot access a book I purchased two days ago. I can read it on Nook for Web but that's it.
Is there a solution or do I just wait for the customer service to get back to me?

I found that my books download on my Android phone (NOOK for Android app) & NOOK for PC. I think this can hold me over for now...

For people who are getting this issue
1) Try Nook for PC or try a few times.
2) The servers are supposed to be in New York. So they are probably just getting electricity etc. back - you'll have to be patient.
3) Let's hope everyone at B&N is fine. They just survived a gigantic hurriance frankenstorm.
