Apps Wishlist

List suggestions for apps to be added to appstore:

My list:

Alarm Clock (The clock app was a tease)

IM Client (Trillian)

Netflix (if there is an Android Version)

Shopping list app

and for work if I'm out and about:

SSH client

VNC client

RDP client

Other than Netflix, I know they are out there.  Please add them to the store.

Re: Apps Wishlist

Since you mentioned SSH, I would love to see a port of TeraTerm and also Cisco AnyConnect and a Windows RDP client.

But, what I would really love to have is a working Text to Speech engine. Not for reading books, but for reviewing technical manuals. I have tried to get this to work on my rooted NC without success.

Re: Apps Wishlist

More free apps, definitely. Shouldn't have to pay a buck for a calculator app.

Also, the website promises QuickOffice Pro, but it's not available in the apps store.  Can that be rectified?

I second, third, fourth, and FIFTH the request for a Trillian app!

Re: Apps Wishlist

Overdrive Media Console app would be fantastic if it would enable us to download library books directly to the Nook Color without sideloading.

I agree with this one!  Would be great to just download directly onto my Nook!

Alarm function would be great.

Cozy - I use it online and have it on my phone, but would like to be able to see on my NC as well (even if off-line)

Plaxo contacts

Free Weather App

I'm sure there are more, but these would be a great start!!

Loving the update so far.

Re: Apps Wishlist

I would like to second or third the following app suggestions:

Netflix -  got so excited last night when I got to log into the netflix website and pull up a movie but the movie never played.  That was a bummer.

Dropbox - would be awesome as we use it for work a lot.

Weather - a free version

Re: Apps Wishlist

I second the Overdrive app.  I asked B&N about this several times and was given the usual vague answers.  The more people that ask, the more seriously they will take us.  Anything to avoid ADE would be welcome.

For my BB I had a MLB app (for us baseball fans) which was great.  Even an ESPN app would be great.

For news there used to be CNN and Fox apps.  Those should be easy to port.

It is better to have loved your nook and lost,
than never to have loved your nook at all.
