Ok, a lot of books come out with one cover and then it comes out in paperback with a different cover or gets a movie cover. Some of my books have automatically switched to the new cover that is suppose to go with the rest of that book's series (ex. Across the Universe, Twilight). I want to know if there is a way to chose which image show up on the ereader for that book. Like with Twilight I would prefer to have the original cover for the first book to go with the rest of the series and not the movie cover. Also, there's other books (Shatter Me, A Million Suns) that I'd like to have the new cover for so that it will match the rest of the series. So is this a posiblity? Or is this something I would have to email the publisher about? Would emailing the publisher even work or should I just kick rocks and forget about it?

For B&N content you must remove the DRM first.
Then install Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/download), it's free, and add the book.
Next, try 'Edit Metadata' in Calibre and see if it pulls up the cover you are looking for, otherwise surf the net for an image/book cover you want and save it to your PC. Then browse for the image inside the Metadata screen in Calibre and add it.
Once you have the book cover you want you need to open the .epub file, from your Calibre library, in Sigil (http://code.google.com/p/sigil/downloads/list), also free, and simply save the file.
Lastly, go back to Calibre and convert the book from .epub to .epub.
Now, you are ready to sideload back to your Nook Color. Attach your Nook Color to you pc via USB and load the book to your Nook Color directly from Calibre. Because this is a B&N you will have two copies of the book on your device. You can archive the B&N Version and only the version with the cover you like will be on your device.
This works with any non-DRM book, I use it a lot for books from Project Gutenberg.
I know this sounds like a pain, but once you've done it a few times it's no so bad, and good covers are essential to the Nook Color experience.
If you are new to Calibre I think you will like having a libray on your desktop. It is a great way to backup all your eBook content. Sigil is a technical eBook editor but don't worry about that, you just need to open up the book and save it back.

And not only can choose different covers but synopsis of book also. Add your own tags,info,rating,etc..
Calibre is a great way to organize and fine tune your library. And I have calibre add books to point to my dropbox folder. That way it gets uploaded to my dropbox and can download anybook anytime when I want it on my nook.
