Funny Easter Egg

Hey everyone, there's a funny easter egg in the Nook Tablet software.  It's can be found in the Settings / Shop / Gift Card / Add Gift Card screen.  I won't reveal exactly how to bring it up in case other people want to try to find it for themselves.  It's tricky, but not impossible to find.  Good luck!

Re: Funny Easter Egg

Okay, I'll give you a hint.  It has to do with the numeric input that you provide (using the keyboard) when adding a gift card.  Good luck!

I found it! It's pretty funny, you just need to enter the right numbers... HINT: it's right in front of you!

Here's just part of it!

Thanks Saturn9nine!  That was a pretty good clue while leaving a little bit of a search.

Very cool...  and funny.

Re: Funny Easter Egg

Does this work on the nook hd too?

Re: Funny Easter Egg

Unlikely -- completely different operating system release...

Though the one illustrated has a way to go to rival the one found in the early Amiga OS release, in which holding down four buttons, and then hitting F1-F10 gave names to functional parts of the Amiga and who developed that part... Holding down the proper /five/ buttons AND ejecting, then inserting a floppy, would reveal a message to the effect of "we built the Amiga, CBM ****ed it up"

It does work on the Nook Color, though.

Re: Funny Easter Egg

Let's just say that your chances of success are greatly increased if you do; at least on the Nook Color. I have no idea about the HD.

Re: Funny Easter Egg

I had to enter the full pin a couple of times - I don't think it liked it when I back-spaced and replaced individual numbers...
