Actually this
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.digcy.my
should be the premium version of my-cast weather radar, it IS in the market and it's $3.99 same as the version labelled "classic"
[EDIT]
...but from the comments it seems that weatherbug elite
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.aws.andr
($1.99)
is a better app with more frequent weather updates(uses wunderground). (Got this one as a free app of the day off Amazon...
)
...and FWIW this app has always worked fine for me EXCEPT when the phone literally doesn't have a data or wifi connection, but I've never used the widgets... actually made good use of it over this spring tracking severe weather... (rada is c. 5m behind, but so it also is on my nb using granalyst level 2...

Thank you. ![]()
But I personally don't like Weatherbug and don't use it on any device. I also don't own the weather app in the B&N shop because I'm content with the aoo I use on my phone that updates no matter where I am. Some apps just don't work well enough for me using only WiFi.

I don't use it on my NC either, but I haven't bothered to root it and install gapps, and well just plain haven't used it for weeks now(hardly ever use it anyways -- have it boot CM from uSD when I do). I only have it on my phone when I don't have access to my nb or desktop w/granalyst... it's actually kind of handy though for a portable relatively recent radar view which it overlays over google maps (also does satellite etc., but I really only use it for temp/press/rel humidity/wind/gusts and radar...)

Does it kill your battery? I've had a lot of issues with Weatherbug apps and memory leaks on a few phones in the past, so I never installed it on my Android phone.

I have another "stupid" question
.
Does the Nook have to be rooted in order to install these apps? Is it true that it voids the warranty?
Many thanks again.

Moon Phase Pro is nice for the price. They could have extended the idea to other planets.

Note to add, the KJV bible worked fine by itself, but when I installed the NIV bible it crashed to the app screen. Two full power downs and it appears to work correctly.

I did the KJV first and added the AMP version without an issue (in the same session). I can even do the side by side version, in landscape mode.
I have the KJV (free edition of some sort), The Zondervan NIV, and the Zondervan Amplified all in eBooks from BN, but I have the found the index easier to use in these apps. The only downside seems to be that they have a half second lag when turning pages (with progress wheel graphic), but I think I could keep up in Church easier with the app, than with the eBooks.

@Rob_U:
I'm curious if you can do any highlighting or note-taking in the Bible apps. One of the main problems with the ebook formats is the known issue with too many highlights. Books with more than 100 seem to lock-up, and its more prevalent on Bibles as it seems most people like to highlight in their Bibles. This may be a good current replacement/workaround?

The data files for both the content of the bibles, and it wouold appear also the highlights and notes store to the micro SD card, so there may not be the same limits as on books themselves (time will tell). Read the help section for instructions about Margin notes which work with your highlights.

I am waiting, does anyone have the updated list of Nook Color applications. Adtly look forward to some high speed simulated and/or sports applications (Madden NFL 12 or Modern Warfare.
As far as I can tell, no one who has participated in this list works for B&N, is a moderator on this board, or owes you anything. You could just as easily taken the previous list and gone through the store to see what was new.
