I've read of others with this problem, but the posts seemed to be pre-Android update. I've had no trouble streaming from Netflix on my home wireless network until two days ago. Now I just get the red Netflix screen and the circle goes around and around, but never connects.Tonight I used the Nook web browser and went to Netflix site; it asked for my login info, which I typed in. I thought perhaps that was the issue, though it's always just connected with my saved login info before. But it didn't help. I've had the Nook on and off several times since this happened. Any suggestions on how to get it back?

Have you tried archiving, then unarchiving, the Netflix app? That may help.
