unlock the bluetooth

not sure if that's done with an app or with an update to the OS, but i just bought a great little bluetooth keyboard (about the size of a cellphone) and would like to be ablet to use it with my new nookTab (that i have bought but won't be opening up until christmas week, probably).

also i would vote Yes for any apps that are similar to scrabble and any drawing apps.  other than that i am not much of an apps user, but i know most others are.

Re: OFFICIAL NOOK Apps Suggestion Thread

Please consider adding MX Player to the available apps at the B&N AppStore.

Re: OFFICIAL NOOK Apps Suggestion Thread

So glad to see this thread here. I would like to see more Google apps. For example, I have a Gmail app from before 1.4.1 that works GREAT on my NT, but now if I ever have to reset, it's gone. The mail app that comes with the NT is OK, but doesn't seem to have all of the functionality of the real Gmail app; for example, archiving. I would also like to see YouVersion and Audible. Again, I have these installed pre update and they work great. No reason they shouldn't be in the Nook market. Reading through these posts I see that they added Dropbox, which had been requested. It would be nice for B&N to post feedback on this thread so that folks don't feel like their requests are going into a black hole. Maybe make this a sticky and have more interaction with us!

Re: OFFICIAL NOOK Apps Suggestion Thread

I agree with the nook study app...total let down...very misleading. VERY inconvenient.....why they would even create an app called 'nook study' that doesn't work on any nook device is absolutely baffling.

They couls at the least create a plain text file conversion for it or something.

There are so few apps...very disappointing.

I bought the tablet and there is virtually no storage space...I've hardly downloaded anything and I'm at 95% usage....and now have to buy a sandisk card.....for what I paid for the tablet I shouldn't have to.

Also...DEF need a pinterest app!

-nook study or file conversion app

-pinterest app

-banking apps (not sure how many there are, if any...can't access app store right now)

If there is any way to get the nook study books on the tablet I would sure love to know.

Really sucks that you're so limited on app content, and if anyone wants to root theirs, their warranty gets voided....so customers who spent the money are between a rock and a hard place....

Right now sports fans get no love... Yahoo Sportstacular is the best but Sports Tap or the ESPN app would do for sports scores and news..

Re: OFFICIAL NOOK Apps Suggestion Thread

Just a few suggestions:

1. K9 Mail

2. Google Calendar

3. Gmail App

4. Button Savior

5. Tapatalk

6. Swype Keyboard or one with the ability to move the cursor with keys instead of trying to tap.

There the only ones I can think of for now.

Just in case I haven't beaten the horse enough: autodesk sketchbook mobile. :smileyhappy: one more vote. Other than that, overdrive media console or another BN built library borrowing portal fir the nook. Nook study and textbooks. Bloomberg. A TED video app. Revision 3 video app. Picasa. FlickR. Photoshop Mobile. Dropbox. IMDB. Mint.com. Lets see these all in 2012! :smileyvery-happy: maybe also: more board games like... Settlers of Catan and Dominion... Google Translate, using the microphone.

Mobilenoter SE HD (a MS OneNote client for android).  External keyboard support would go really well with that.

Laurel the external keyboard suggestion.
