Plants vs Zombies

Maybe I'm reading the description wrong, but it appears there are no minigames and only has the adventure mode. If that's so, then $5 is a ridiculously high price for this app. For about the same price, you get 1 or 2 modes and minigames from itunes and nintendo!

Re: Plants vs Zombies

Just like in the other app store versions, arcade mode (quick play) is unlocked by completing adventure mode first. Also this is definitely the HD version for tablets not a pixely phone version (have fun Fire owners). Also I gladly paid 19.99 for this on a PC a few years ago so for me 4.99 is a steal.

Re: Plants vs Zombies

I bought this game a few years ago on PC. Then again as a download on Xbox Live. Then again when it sold on a retail disc for Xbox 360. Then yet again as a download on my 3DS. The 3DS download (actually DSiWare version) did not include everything in the full game... so I bought it a fifth time as an actual Nintendo DS cartridge. Needless to say I love this game.

I was led to believe that this version included the mingames, or at least the Zen Garden mode because in the description they say you can buy the snail. Still, having a high def touch screen version is worth the lack of mini-games and survival mode. Though having them would be beyond great.

An interesting note is, however, that recently on PopCap's twitter they were asked if they were going to update the Android version of PvZ, to which they replied: "...we are always working on updating our games. Hopefully we'll have something new soon!"

Cross your fingers.
