ReaderDock for NC/NT

It is all that it was advertised to be.  The speakers are LOUD, if you want it.  It tilts for either standup or on its side.  Best of all, we ran Netflix for 12 hours and the battery charged while being used; battery at full charge after 12 hours.  It was well worth the wait!!!!

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

How loud is it? Does it truly pump up the volume? Does it sound good as a steroe of music?

I enjoy my Nook Tablet, but the sound is so quiet that when I stream a movie I can barely hear it. Is it a substantial sound pump up? (It appears from your post that it is, but just confirming that before I order one...).

Thanks!

Yes, it gets really loud if you turn the volume all the way up both on the tablet and on the dock. The sound quality is on par with any stereo system. I love mine! It sits on my night stand and plays Pandora in the morning while I get ready for the day.

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

I didn't pre-order one. Anyone know if they are taking orders now for shipment?  I looked at their site but it seems they're only able to ship the pre-orders now.

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

It looks like they are still only taking preorders. Mine took a couple of weeks longer to arrive than ReaderDock had indicated. I guess they are overwhelmed with orders. But it was worth the wait.

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

Thanks for the info! Readerdock sounds like a wonderful product. I will order.

It sounds as if it would also work as just speakers plugged into headset jack of phone, yes? No? That would be a nice bonus.

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

Does the ReaderDock have to be plugged into either a/c or the computer in order to operate.  Also, can I plug my NT into the ReaderDock without plugging into either of the mentioned and have sound coming out.  I will probably be plugging into a/c 99% of the time--just wondering.  Thanks

Re: ReaderDock for NC/NT

I signed up for the e-mail notification and I received an e-mail today regarding pre-ordering and they have quotes from users....

How can they have users commenting on the sound, when it is up for pre-order????

@ConstayntReader Yes, you can use it with any other device that has a standard headphone jack.

@john2012 No, the dock needs a power source to work. So you cannot use it without plugging it into the wall.

@MusicManGG They started pre-order about a month ago. I ordered mine early and just go it.
