Reading Now on home page with problems

In some books the Reading Now on home page reads page 1 of 1. Still, I press the button of back to reading and it takes me to the last page read. On another side loaded book the data was correct, displayed the correct pages, and took me to the last bookmark. Are some side loaded books missing something?

If you click on the Reading Now book cover it will take you to page 1!

I also noticed that on the side loaded books that keep the page, if you read something else and then go back and open your previous book, it opens on page 1....

It's a very long-standing bug, which B&N apparently has little interest in fixing, judging from their lack of response. See this thread for some possible workarounds and this thread for a more complete discussion.

Some folks here have speculated that the fact that the bug affects only sideloaded content (in other words not bought from B&N) explains their failure to fix it.

I noticed that at first... Reloaded everything and stopped happening. The two books I´ve been reading so far (Spanish versions of Stephenson Anathem and Watts Blindsight), Anathem keeps all the info but not so Blindsight... Maybe something is missing from CSS code...

Or just stop using the home page.

For the time being all of my content is side loaded... I also thought it happened because it was on the SD card... Both books are on the main reader memory...
