There is an email app that can talk to Exchange, but it's not described well in the app store. Mark OB1 and I think FT know which one it is, hopefully someone will identify it.
I don't use the BN email app so I wasn't interested in updating; I did grab the file, pull the build.prop and the other prop files (local.prop.acclaim, local.prop.elation) and copy them into the /system directory on my rooted NT. On the NC, updating the build.prop file will keep you from getting an OTA update. I'm rooted and actually like being able to hear the audio and don't have an interest in reinstalling and re-rooting so I'm hopeful that this will work on the NT as well (AFAIK, various methods for trying to block updates on the NT are not that successful; I can't say which actually work.)
One thing I just noticed in Dean's diff output is that the update includes an update for Netflix. I know that a few people have reported Netflix issues and many have seen Netflix offer to update itself.
An interesting design choice in the NT is that Netflix is in /system, so the only way to officially update it is via a BN OS update. I'm going to see about blowing in the more-recent Netflix update by itself now that I've seen that it is available.
One thing that's actually good about that design is that it means BN is going to have to do fairly frequent OS updates for the NT, so incremental fixes may come faster for the NT than they did for the NC.
OK, so pushing in Netflix manually works, but you do also need to go to the Dalvik cache and get rid of
/dalvik-cache/system@app@netflix-1.5.0-137-390-release.apk@classes.dex
That version looks like the one that will be referenced by default in a manually updated system, and on launch, even with the new netflix.apk in /system/app, netflix asks you about whether you'd like to update. After deleting that file from the dalvik cache, I'm no longer prompted to update at launch.
