Just curious if I'm missing something.  What would you do with a camera app?

Or were you indicating that you'd like to see a new NC2 be released that did have a camera?

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

Scrabble or Words With Friends would be wonderful! Or something like Diner dash/ time management type games.

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

You can totally count on more word games coming from us in the future.

That is the first time I've heard the request for more Time Management games, however, and I do enjoy those types of games a lot. Anyone else like those types of games?

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

I would love to see a messenger app, I still you Yahoo Messenger a lot so it would be great to have an app rather than having to use the website which isn't that friendly

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

Another vote for a decent picture viewer which knows about folders/directories and organization. I'd rather not have to hunt through several hundred photos looking for on the two of my granddaughter. I want Family -> [son] -> [granddaughter] type of organization.

Yahoo has a great Internet Messenger app - I'd like that available on my NC.

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

I would LOVE a good Backgammon game. One where you took the effort to use a real random number generator - even those games that claim they "don't cheat" appear to cheat because of IMO the poor random number generators used in most simple games. A version of Backgammon which took up the whole screen nicely, implemented a good move accelerator (double tap a checker and it moves the probable move - no move if more then one open - especially wonderful during bearing off).

Anyway - that's my vote.

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

I remember my parents had something that looked like a breifcase and inside was a backgammon set. I was super into action figures at the time so I'd line them up around the edges while I played games.

A really great suggestion :smileyvery-happy:

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

We've had our newest game, Deck of Words, has been available for a few days now and I was just wondering if any one here has played it yet. You all have given great feedback and would love to know what you think.

If you are curious to see the game in action, I created a youtube video of it.

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

I have a few apps I would like to request:

1: I really like playing he game "fruit ninja" on my sisters phone. but, instead of bothering her, i wanted it on the nook color.

2:  The game "hotel dash"

3: This particular app I really, really want to be on the nook color.  It is called " Text now." its a free app.

anyone of these apps i would love to be there! thanks!  :womanhappy:

Since the NC has no microphone (nor any way to add one), that would be difficult.  :smileywink:

You won't see this from B&N, but I believe if you rooted your NC, you may be able to use a Bluetooth headset with it to do the kind of thing you're asking about.

Re: What Nook Apps Would you Like?

Hey everyone! I haven't been replying like I used to (getting really busy as Fall is approaching!) but I'm still reading and listening!

Anyway, based on Feedback, you may have noticed Mahjong Solitaire in the NOOK Store. People have been loving it so far and I think the art style is really beautiful, hopefully others agree too. We've got a few plans for future development on it, but I'm still collecting thoughts and comments from all you playing it. We know that many of you are looking for more tile set options :smileyhappy:

One big addition to our games line-up is Rocket Bunnies. It is the first game we published on the NOOK Color and we couldn't be any happier with the game. It is made by some fantastic folks at Defiant Development and the game is an absolute (pardon the pun) blast with tons of content (60 levels). The best way to find out what the game is about is by checking out the YouTube trailer for it because seeing a Rabbit on a Rocket makes me laugh every time.

Keep the ideas comming, they are all fantastic!
