Who wants to be NOOKfriends?

Has anyone gotten this to work?  I've tried with 2 friends so far - one that has a NC and one has a regular nook (since it said you just had to have a bn.com account to utilize this).  It's been several hours now for both and neither of us have seen any sort of "invite" come through whether it's on the NOOKcolor itself or our email.

I got two emails from two people.I got their emails to add me, I clicked through to do so and it had me log in. When I did it told me no one wanted to be my friend.  I sent a request to someone who posted their email address and I sent it via the Nookfriends. They did accept and they are showing up. However the two who sent me emails is not. 

I don't know if this is a glitch or if the "friendship" is mean to be onesided. It might mean that we will have to send request via the nookfriends to everyone in order for them to show up on ours. Not sure what the deal is.

Thought I would see if anyone else had this issue.

You're one step ahead of me at lesat crim!  I've attempted to add both people through nookfriends directly and neither one has seen any sort of invite from me.  The one that has a NOOKcolor also attempted to invite me as well and I've yet to see that invite.

If you are on facebook check out the lendme book group. Over 200 members who exchange email addresses to share books.

How do you send a PM?

The way I found to send a PM is to click on the person's user name in their post. On the page that takes you too, look on the right side of the screen, about half way down you'll see a big green button that says "Add <username> to Friends"  just above that button in green text is "Send <username> a Private Message". Click that to send the private message.

There may be an easier way, but I haven't found it yet.

Like I said in a previous post, we have over 200 members, sharing email addresses that can be manually entered into your nookcolor or you can add them all in one fell swoop using our easy directions.

Thanks Bella, I'll check it out as well.  Still going to work on the list because at least with that you kinda know who you're adding.  I'm sure a lot of people on here are also on facebook but they may have different user names.  It's always good to have lots of options.

Mz YaYa...i believe so. It is the email that is connected to your nook and the BN website. If i'm wrong plz someone correct me. But I thought reading stating your nookfriends is connected to your BN email.
