I'm getting VERY frusterated with apps and books that are supposed to be free on android and apple but are $2.99 or $.99. Also apps and books that are called "Free!" are not free...

You do realize that those "free" apps on Android and Apple, aren't free, they're paid for by ads. B&N has chosen primarily not to include ad based apps, so absent being able to make money through the ads in the Apps, the developer is going to charge the user. After all, for the most part, they're not creating these Apps for free.

It is very eazy to turn off the ads on an Android tablet!!!
It would be nice to beable to try the apps that B&N offers before buying them.
Just a thought.
