Thank you for your response! I look forward to attending one of your events the next time you are in the Los Angeles area. In the meantime, it is great to be able to hear your comments on your website and read the information posted there.

Hello B&N Book community
I live in the heart of the wonderful Colorado Rockies in Summit County, Colorado's playground. We love outdoor sports like downhill and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. In summer, we enjoy hiking and bicycling. I love to read but because of many other hobbies and interests, I don't read as much as many of my friends. Given my limited time, I want to read really good books that challenge my mind and make me reflect as well as entertain.
I look forward to being involved in an online book group which will allow me to fit it in on my schedule.

I live in Colorado Mountains. I received "The Lace Reader" for my birthday last summer (2008) from my sister. She had not read the book yet but heard a review on NPR that compelled her to give me the book. I loved this story about a variety of different personalities of women. It tugged at my emotions but set me back with the ending. As soon as I finished the book, I give it to my friends so we could discuss the story but several did not like the book except for a couple of women. I look forward to discussing this story with this group.
