Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Shopaholic & Baby by Sophie Kinsella

[ Edited ]
Becky is Back -- Now, With a Baby!

Book Cover Image: Title: Shopaholic & Baby, Author: Sophie Kinsella Buy It From our editors: "Shopaholic Becky Bloomwood is pregnant, but the prospect of motherhood hasn't reined in her passion for fashion. In fact, this insatiable London shopper has a new excuse for raiding boutiques, catalogues, and baby shops for goodies. Amid all this happy expectation, though, lurks a major problem. Becky has become convinced that her hubby Luke has been fiddling with vampish obstetrician Venetia Carter. To allay her fears, our self-indulgent personal shopper hires a private detective to track down the truth. It won't surprise Shopaholic fans that this sets off a madcap romp that is more fun than an afternoon at Prada."

Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic novels never fail to create a fabulous fanfare upon their release -- and this one is no exception. If you've read Becky's latest adventure, do dish! How does it compare to Kinsella's other books? Of the series, which is your personal favorite so far?

Re: Shopaholic & Baby by Sophie Kinsella

I just read this book. It's as enjoyable and humorous as the rest of the series, and it's always fun to meet up with these characters again. While Becky can be a trial to her friends and to Luke, she's sharper than she sometimes appears.

All of Sophie Kinsella's are great fun to read!

Hey LizzieAnn, welcome! Sophie joined us for a discussion of Shopaholic and Sister some time ago and she was a blast. Glad to hear the new book is just as much fun as her previous.

Thanks, Amanda That was great! Thanks again. Sophie is such a light fluffy writer but always entails a wonderful story that stirs your emotions empeccibly. I love to include one of hers between maybe a heavy writer and one you dutifully have to concentrate vividly and ernestly while reading.
