Can't Wait Books of 2012!!

I love the Listopia links on Goodreads...all the new releases are there and it's easy to update my TBR list from it!  :-)  Just thought I would share with everyone. You can also vote on your favorites!  :-D

Cheers!

Kiss the Dead (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #21)

When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. Re: Can't Wait Books of 2012!!

I just broke down and started doing Goodreads on Friday! I just had to, with the way B&N keeps making their site more and more frustrating, I figured it was about time. And so far I love it! Thanks for pointing out that list, it probably would have taken me a while to find it without you !

I'm all excited now to update my 2012 releases list!

Hey no problem!  :-)  I love the site...have all my books one there...Read, To-Read, Wish-List and my e-books.  If you click the Explore dropdown in the upper part of the website and click Listopia, it has others as well!  It's very handy.  :-)

Off the top of my head I'd add:

On Midnight Wings (Per author--March 27)

Seawitch (to be published August 7)

Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse #12-- May 1)

Blackout  (last Newsflesh book scheduled for release June 1)

Also can't forget Wrong Side of Dead   (January 31)

I'm confused about the latest Phoenix book, On Midnight Wings. Adrian wrote on her website that the release will be March 2013 (quote below). Is this still the case?

"*I wanted to explain why the delay in the release of the fifth Maker’s Song book, On Midnight Wings. It’ll be released the end of 2012 or the first of 2013 (I’m hoping for a January release) due to my difficulty in hitting the deadline. Back when I was writing Beneath the Skin, I broke my ankle in Orlando at RT (and had to have surgery to repair it once I was home again), then suffered a double pulmonary embolism on the flight home. I can’t tell you how fortunate I feel to have survived that! But I fell behind on my deadlines at that point as I was recovering. I also sold a second series shortly prior to this, so now I was behind in two series. I’ve been racing ever since mid-2009 to catch up. This will finally give me that opportunity..."

I can't find it on Amazon.  B&N has it with a 2/1/2013 release date.  :smileysad:

Yeah, I'm certainly not blaming Adrian – she was in a terrible accident and I LOVE that lady – but I'm pretty bummed. This is one of my favorite sagas and I've sooooooo been waiting for this next book!

Think of it this way....now you can justify putting off that ever expanding TBR pile to reread the series cause you know it's just been soooo long since the last book, I can't remember what happened and need to refresh my memory.  Works for me :smileytongue:
