Kim Harrison's Hollow series

Okay, so I am so excited over this I decided it needed it's own thread. Check this out:

So another popular book web site (CoughGoodreadsCough) has the cover image and description of Book 10 of The Hollows series titled A Perfect Blood. Try as I might, I could not get a link to the cover image (if someone else can manage that it would be awesome), but here is the description:

A Perfect Blood

Ritually murdered corpses are appearing across Cincinnati, terrifying amalgams of human and other. Pulled in to help investigate by the FIB, former witch turned day-walking demon Rachel Morgan soon realizes a horrifying truth — a would-be creator is determined to make his (or her) own demons. But it can’t be done without Rachel’s blood.

As a bounty hunter, Rachel has battled vampires, witches, werewolves, demons, and more. But humanity itself might be her toughest challenge.

Release date on this is listed as February 21, 2012

Re: Kim Harrison's Hollow series

I love this series!  I still have to read Pale Demon, but have been dragging my feet since I didn't know when book 10 would be released...now that I know it's not THAT far off, I will probably read book #9 in the next month or so!

Thanks for the head's up and the link!

I agree. I love the cover. I think covers are influencing me more than I think.

Re: Kim Harrison's Hollow series

The cover is fantastic!!  The art is terrific, and I love how Rachel's character looks SO much like Kim!!

(I wanted to have a handsome protagonist, so I couldn't have the guy look anything like me)   :smileywink:

Re: Kim Harrison's Hollow series

I really like this cover!  The colors are awesome and Kim's covers always make you wonder what is going to happen in the book.  Unlike many others books that have NOTHING to do with the actual story.  Also, I do not know if y'all remember the early release cover of Black Magic Sanction that showed Rachel's face straight on.  Many of us were not happy with that.  I really like the choice to show her face from a different perspective.  It let's me continue to see her in my head the way I want to.

Interesting theory...hmmm...I want to know who it is!  I have a tiny little crush on the awesomeness that is Al.  One of the most charismatic and intriguing characters in the genre, IMO.

I know!  Me too!  I always imagined Al to be less...butch looking.  Could be the soul devouring demon since we do not know if she is in the ever after or not.  OR, it is possibly someone new!  I saw Kim on her book tour and she talked about the fact that she had introduced a new guy to the series at the end of Pale Demon, but then had to take him out to explore the thing with Kalamack.  Hmmm....

It is good to know I am not the only one with an inappropriate crush on a demon!

Re: Kim Harrison's Hollow series

Well, doesn't it seem like she could be resurrecting someone???

Maybe it's Kisten....

Yes it's a tease. But it would make a good storyline.
