Re: Lost Girl - new SyFy TV Series

I'm really enjoying this show, I've been hearing about it *forever* from my friends in Canada so it's fun to finally see what they're talking about.

I just wish it wasn't opposite Castle, lol.

Re: Lost Girl - new SyFy TV Series

I am really enjoying this show. I DVR it every Monday right after Being Human!  It reminds me so much of a lot of the books I've read recently.  The actress who plays Kensi (the main character's sidekick) is awesome, she is my favorite character.  The things that come out of that girl's mouth...:smileyvery-happy:

HELP! I've fallen and can't reach my book!!!!

I like Kensi too. And the lines she says are great. I record the series too. Then I can watch the series again when there is nothing on TV.

I love the show! I DVR is too! :smileyvery-happy: Kenzi is pretty awesome- much needed to ground the fae aspects and she has some great lines.... I wasn't sure what I thought about Dyson- actually, I'm still not sure. Sometimes I like him and think he's hot, other times... not so much.

I wish they would enlighten us a little more on some more fae backgrounds- who is that bartender guy, and why is it such a problem if Dyson be in a relationship with Bo? Maybe they explained it, but I never got it. Impatient? Me? nahh...

I don't watch Being Human though- I got spoiled on the British/original version (which I think is the best show ever), and the American one is just not working for me. I watched a couple episodes of the first season, and I just can't stick with it....

If you're normal, the crowd will accept you. If you're deranged, they'll make you their leader.

Re: Lost Girl - new SyFy TV Series

I agree also...Being Human ...just can't get into it.

Besides SYFY has to keep going.  Now if they just didn't kill my Eureka I would totally forgive them for cancelling the Stargate Franchise.

I have to say however that Lost Girl can't be beat...Just so good!

Since this isn't based on a book series....readers can't kill this one the way they killed Dresden Files so maybe I'll get to watch this for awhile.

I'm surprised they haven't played up the "side" angle yet.  Either side should be trying to recruit her as they don't like independents.
