I finished the book last weekend....it was better than some of the later books, but still a little slow. For once I figured out who was behind it all early....usually I either guess wrong or am completly clueless
I don't know about Sookie and Sam...it seems a little too obvious. Although I would like to see them together with some kids, I have a sneeky feeling Harris may do something different.

I would love to see Sam & Sookie end up together. It seems like the best pairing of anyone Sookie could end up with. The only thing that disappointed me in "Deadlocked" is that Sookie didn't end her relationship with Eric once and for all. Sookie is a smart girl and I am sure part of it is kind of keeping the drama going for the final installment, but they can never be happy together. Sookie deserves a lot better than him.

Excellent point about her not actually breaking up completely with Eric! I agree that she should have done that- they barely had any interactions at all in this book, and she kind of seemed over it anyway. She needs to put the metaphorical final nail in that coffin... She does deserve better, and not to be strung along like Eric's been doing. I think he really cares for her, but just not enough.
