I love the tree roots from the ground-up perspective. Hell, I love big, gnarly trees with twists, textures and curves. And, the skeletal root tendrils which begin at the bottom of cover are especially menacing. It all works together amazingly well. 

 

This anthology is a very good idea. It looks like a must read for any dedicated Hollows fan.

nice cover. I am new to kim harrison so should I read this before dead witch walking?

Very sexy looking, but anything with Kim Harrison's name on it sexy to me at this point.

Yes – start at the beginning. Just a note – in my opinion, this series starts off just like any other mid-level paranormal fantasy but it rapidly – and exponentially – gets better and better until, well, it's the best series out there...   :smileyhappy:
