Dust of the Damned particularly appeals to me Paul.:smileyhappy:

Also, the fourth installment in the popular Jane Yellowrock series was released Jan. 3, 2012. I'll definitely be reading Raven Cursed (Jane Yellowrock Series #4) this month.

British UF author--and my awesome critique partner--Suzanne McLeod also has a book out in January in the U.S. BITTER SEED OF MAGIC is the third in her Spellcrackers Series. You don't have to read the series in order because Suzanne does a good job summarizing what came before, but if I were you I'd start at book one and read straight through. :smileywink: Suzanne's world building is richly complex and her characters are a lot of fun. Check them out!

LOVE this series.  It's complete and utter torture having to wait for the American release of these books.

Great picks, 3MM – I put Horizon on my February list since it doesn't drop until 1/24. THAT one is going to be great!!!

Still trying to find this one...  :/  I was going to put it in my Kindle but the price is still $10 so I'll wait until the book shows up somewhere...  Cannot wait to read it!  I did read part of the first chapter online and was disappointed to see that she didn't continue from where the last one ended.  With her about to leave town and Rick shows up!!  Argh.

Looking forward to the Wrong Side of Dead!  It's a great series!!  :-)  I downloaded Aftertime and the one after that to my Kindle....I'll probably grab the 3rd one once the price has dropped a bit.  Love having an e-reader!  :-)

I've got hardcovers for the first 2 of the Charley Davidson series...   I've heard lots of good things about them.  :-)

I have this series sitting next to The Hollows on my bookshelf on the Very-Special-Favorites-That-I-Will-Break-Your-Fingers-If-You-Touch shelf.

 The Rook by Daniel O'Malley

“The body you are wearing used to be mine.” So begins the letter Myfanwy Thomas is holding when she awakes in a London park surrounded by bodies all wearing latex gloves. With no recollection of who she is, Myfanwy must follow the instructions her former self left behind to discover her identity and track down the agents who want to destroy her. She soon learns that she is a Rook, a high-ranking member of a secret organization called the Chequy that battles the many supernatural forces at work in Britain. She also discovers that she possesses a rare, potentially deadly supernatural ability of her own.

Has anyone heard anything about this book?  I saw it on the Fiction Affliction list for January and thought it sounded interesting.

Sins of the Demon

I agree, this series is good-have read the first three. Not sure when the next one comes out and have to agree it is hard to find dates for release in U.S. I think it is The Price of Prey?  I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this Jan release but here it is:

Have a look at www.goodreads.com

They have all the books and what order they go in.  :-)  Sins of the Demon is #4 and #5 is Touch of the Demon due out in 2013.

WHAT???  Paul, I'm shocked.  I thought for sure you would of read this series by now.  Well that would explain why these never make the monthly featured list.  Give it a try Paul.  I'm fairly confident that you will like them.  In fact I would lay a bet down that you will. :smileywink:

Well, if we're listing every notable UF release in January, then the concluding book in Green's classic Nightside series just has to be mentioned.

The Bride Wore Black Leather (Nightside Series #12) was released January 3 and, together with the other January released/featured books, I'll be reading it this month.:smileyhappy:
