Question on Today's Daily Find: Need [ Edited ]

 Does anyone know anything about this book?  It sounds interesting, but the reviews I see on Goodreads seem to be almost a love it or hate it.  I would love to hear from some of you guys.

This series taught me an important lesson about recommending books:  Be careful recommending a series based on a first book.  Let me start by saying that Need was a wonderful YA read.  Unfortunately the following books in this series have been a major disappointment.  Two - three star reads at best.
