Edward thinks Bella is to delicate to have sex with he thinks he will hurt her.. but im with you he should turn her already i hope he does in the book...
I hope that Bella doesnt end up with either Edward of jake. She, as a main character is kind of whiny...why dont they have sex? Edward is annoying...change her into a vampire already!!! over all though, a sweet romance

I didn't think Pattison was a good choice for Edward. I'm still trying to get my friends into reading it but they are so reluctant.

Didn't get the preview from youtube. I watched the one the studio released, and not the teaser either. It was terrible; bad acting, hooky, vague, and cliched.

I think one characteristic that sets these books apart is that the author captures and treats with respect the intensity of emotion often experienced by older teenagers and those slightly older. Meyer manages to pull this off convincingly -- not going over the top OR belittling the emotions. The characterizations are also quite well done, I think. The wide appeal of the series is very interesting to me. I have gotten several of my older students at my all-male military boarding school reading them.
Meyer does also add a few interesting approaches to the vampire mythos, as well. For example, her vampires glitter like jewels in the sun.
I have enjoyed the books immensely, though I have a slight problem with something that occurred in the third installment. I am hoping this will be resolved in the final book.

For those of you interested...
I didn't know that they had a whole twilight room.

1st- the new take on vampires (no fangs, glitter, superhero abilities and beyond)
2nd- You do relate or want to relate to her characters and can not help but love the intensity and the "old school" ways of edward.
3rd- Great dialogue - witty, sarcastic, hopeless cheesy.
4th- She packs in so much with action, romance, and paranormal in the plot that it pulls
She basically wrote a modern romeo and juliet- with vampires.
