Re: Welcome to Guilty Pleasures: The Paranormal Pub – Off-Topic Chat Served Up Daily

It turned out to be a perfect day for Mother's Day! The girls and I got Mrs. PGA some very nice window boxes to put in the front of the house. Now all we have to do is put them up and get some pretty flowers!

Mission accomplished.   :smileyhappy:

Re: Welcome to Guilty Pleasures: The Paranormal Pub – Off-Topic Chat Served Up Daily

I am a paranormal romance junkie!! I read at least 3 books a week. Sad, I know but seems to help my thru the day. I have recently started writing my own series just for a creative outlet. Between working, writing, reading, & being a single mom my day gets pretty full fast. What are anyone's thoughts of werewolves? Would love any input!

I share your same affliction, Miss Hutton. As for werewolves – or any other supernatural creature, for that matter – I'm "IN" as long as the author brings something new to the table. Good paranormal fantasy for me equals creativity – no cliches or stereotypes. :smileyhappy:

I share your addiction miss-hutton and I agree with Paul. With this paranormal/fantasy being the new normal there isn't much out there that makes me raise my eyebrows and keeps my interest more than a new take on an old species.

Good luck with your writing and all your endeavors. :smileyhappy:

Thanks pen, sometimes we do need to be reminded that we're celebrating something important and not just an extra day off work.

Well, there is actually a private party downstairs Saturday night. Not open to the public. It's to celebrate the official opening of our newly renovated, subterranean space. It will offer full catering, table and bar service, a fully trained staff, and "personal attention" to all who have the courage to descend into its labyrinthine underbelly.
