Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades Trilogy #1) I REALLY loved the first book in the kushiel series and now I am jumping into the second one. I also started reading fifty shades of grey and I am hooked. I know it got a lot of controversial feedback, but I don't see anything wrong with the book. You have issues with books like this, don't read them because there are plenty of other people in the world that do.

Agreed! :-) I read the 50 Shades series a while back and REALLY like it, LOL! Definitely needed some cold showers, LOL!
Paul, I think every couple needs to read the series...it will most likely spice up their sex life! :-)
Current book(s): Falling Blind by Shannon K. Butcher (Sentinel Wars #7)
Just finished: Kitty Rocks the House by Carrie Vaughn (Kitty Norville #11)

I'm serious! As a book critic, I feel like it's almost my duty to read the releases that make pop culture history – like the, gulp, Twilight saga, The Hunger Games, etc. – just so I know what it's all about. Yes, I've heard some really bad reviews of the E.L. James stuff but I've heard some great reviews too. I'm curious – and, hello, it's erotic fiction! ![]()

I just started a debut series by the author of the Demon Slayer novels Angie Fox
it's due out in September, and she's a local author for me too, lives in the St. Louis area
her humor is wonderful in her Demon Slayers series, so I can't wait to see what she does with this one, it's about an immortal M A S H unit doctor, I know right

Oh no I agree Paul and it was just a wee joke and I'm interested in what you think really.
I've actually heard more good things about it than bad, and it's entertaining to watch the author on a talk show going, uh it's erotic fiction, not classic literature
, she's a hoot.
As a book reviewer I haven't had the urge to read it, but that may change.
But I will be getting by the end of this week
The Twelve (Passage Trilogy Series #2)

You should and then you'll be able to give an in depth opinion. I do read a lot of books and end up not liking them, but then there are some that I just can't get past the first page, that is when you know that no amount of drinking or drugs can make that book interesting !!

So I've finished both Hush, Hush and Crescendo. I have to admit I was on the fence after Hush, Hush, simply because her bff Vee was annoying the you know what out of me, and Nora seemed a little dim... But I did immediately start in on Crescendo. It seemed a little of the same to me for the first half, but the second really picked up and had a fantastic ending! I haven't started Silence (Hush, Hush Saga #3) yet, but mostly because I know I'll want the last book right away, and it doesn't come out til October!

I started Tempest's Fury this weekend, as I've been reading so many YA books lately, I needed a little adult intervention! And who can resist Jane True, her snarky disposition, and her libido?!? (Plus my TBR list of "eagerly anticipated releases that I haven't gotten to yet" is getting a little out of control...)

I am about midway through
It is pretty good so far. I really like Alex and his similarities to everyones favorite wizard for hire. Reading Alex's adventures make the excruciatingly long wait for the newest Dresden book a little more bearable. I am heading to vacation on Saturday, so I am planning on taking
Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts Series #5)
and
A
A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy #1)
with me for some beach reading while I am in San Diego.
