My most recent read was Succubus Blues, which is ok but not my favorite.  I probably won't finish that series.

Next up:

Lover At Last by J.R. Ward

Then maybe the Mortal Instrument series... any input on that series????

HELP! I've fallen and can't reach my book!!!!

I've heard Mortal Instruments is really, really good!  And also Young Adult, FYI.  I plan to read at least the first book before the movie is out. :-)

Re: What are you currently reading?

I'm reading Ender's Game. It's a classical scifi that's been sitting on my shelf a while. I felt the need to read something different and plucked that title off the shelf. So far it's keeping my interest. Also, I wanted to read it before the movie comes out that's based on the novel.

Hi !  I have read all 5 Mortal Instruments books and so has my grown son!  They have good characterizations, and the story flows smoothly.  A movie on the first book is coming out in August...I think.

Re: What are you currently reading?

Oh SciFi, I'm behind on a lot of things.  Don't feel bad.  Now that I'm done with school I can start catching up.

So, I just finished

Midnight Blue-Light Special (Incryptid Series #2).  It was so good.  I am never disappointed in Seanan.  Apparently, the next two books will be narrated by Verity's brother, so it seems like it might be similar to the Women of the Otherworld series.

Speaking of catching up on series, I am staying with Seanan and finally reading

Ashes of Honor (October Daye Series #6).  So far so freaking good!!

Next, I will stay on the catch up train and finally read

Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts Series #5).

Re: What are you currently reading?

Hello,

I wanted to share my newest book, Curvaceous Condemnation, Book 2 in the series The Endurers as a possible read for the ones of you that enjoy paranormal romance! It is specially priced right now at $.99.

Book Information:

Real Estate agent Scarlett Hamilton has fled to New Orleans, desperate to learn to live again after the death of her fiance, Niles. One day she is asked to list a historic mansion, but ends up feeling an overwhelming, almost supernatural urge to buy it herself. She doesn't realize there is already someone living within the walls, and a doorway to Hell in the backyard.

Vincent Chavalerio is an immortal Endurer so tormented by Hell, he had to be placed in stasis in order to live. One night he awakens to a world completely foreign to the one he used to know, and a strange woman sleeping in his bed.

Hell surrounds them as the cursed Endurer and plus-sized woman discover an erotic need between them that has to be fulfilled. Will he be able to look past the curse and discover the destiny in front of him?

So, I just finished

Ashes of Honor (October Daye Series #6).  It was so freaking good.  I can't wait for Chimes at Midnight.  I really hope that this series goes on for a good long time.

Up next, I'm finally going to get caught up on the Downside Ghosts series and read

Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts Series #5).  I love Chess and I highly recommend this series, especially if you are looking for something different.  After Chasing Magic I plan on reading

Taken (Alex Verus Series #3).  I'm so excited that school is done so I can start getting caught up on things!!

Re: What are you currently reading?

I just finished The Lost. Excellent book. This book does a good blend on different genres.

I liked this description from the B&N book description.

"(P.S. One critic praised this series by former Vegas showgirl Vicki Pettersson as "a mashup of urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and noir mystery.")"
