I'm reading Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night by Kresley Cole, in her Immortals After Dark series.  I read the first two and loved them, so I decided to continue.  I also just finished Lover Eternal by J.R. Ward.  And will start on Lover Awakened after I'm finished with Kresley Cole's book.

Had all day to read and just finished Dark Rain by Tony Richards.  I really liked the book and his style of writing.  It is on the dark side of Urban Fantasy and has a lot of Mystery/Thriller to it but was one that kept me reading.  I will definitely get the second book in the series that is out when I have the money to be able to get it.  I found the characters very believe able as well as the World Building.  Would reccommend it to those that like it Darker but not to those that object to any Horror because there is a sense of that in this book.

I have just finished the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and loved it! I can't wait for the next one!

I'm currently reading Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series! I'm just starting the third book, but so far I'm enjoying the idea of were the vampires came from.... Very unique! Well, enjoy your books everyone!

Well now I'm onto Kitty's House of Horrors by Carrie Vaughn...  :-)  I'm so ticked..can't find Beneath the Skin (Adrian Phoenix) or Bound By Sin (Jenna Maclaine) in any of our bookstores.  GRRRRRRRR!!  I am dying to read Beneath the Skin!  :-(  Well hopefully by the time I'm done this book they will have them.  *sigh*

well i have never read so much in my life until i read the twilight sagas, then i moved on to the house of night series by p.c.& kristen Cast, then the vampire academy series  by richelle mead, then blue bloods series by melissa de la cruz, then vampire kisses series by ellen schreiber, then the immortals series by alyson noel,  than vampire diaries series by l.j. smith, then thirst volume 1 by christopher pike, then the morganville vampire series by rachel caine, immortal edited by p.c. cast , then 2 of the sookie stackhouse series, just finished shiver by maggie stiefvater,i read all those in 3 months.  i am now reading the eternal kiss 13 vampire tales of blood and desire edited trisha telep. im not really getting into it like all the others because it seems like when i finally get into the story its over! if anyone can give me any suggestions for more reading id love it! ive always really been into vampires and werewolfs since i was little! so someone please help im running out of things to buy when i wander in barnes and noble for hours!

I am currently working on Molly Harper's Jane Jameson series.  Received them for Christmas along with LKH's Divine Misdemeanors (devoured this one instantly), Kat Richardsons Underground, J.R. Wards Lover Avenged, and Gerry Barlett's Real Vampires Have Curves.  I have to admit that the to be read pile is starting to become it's own bookshelf, maybe the hubby wont notice my now compulsive book hording.  At least until after next Tuesday, book buying day, can not wait for Faith Hunters Blood Cross to come out.

My advice is to go through the New and Recommended Thread, the Genre Series Primer for Newbie's Thread, and be sure to check out the Best Paranormal Releases of 2009 Thread.  I like to use these threads, along with this one, as a guide for my book shopping list.

As for suggestions, I would recommend some of these authors:

Kim Harrison

Nicole Peeler

Ilona Andrews

Patricia Briggs

Richelle Mead (check out her adult series)

Jaye Wells

Faith Hunter

Hope this helps you find some series you might like.  Also, I can not stand short stories, you get into the story and then it ends, leaving you with this unfulfilled feeling.  I'm a series type of girl.

Wow, I have to say I'm impressed by the amount of reading you've done in three months!  I wish I could do that but my damn job keeps cutting into my reading time, LOL!  *sigh*  Geez this silly working for a living business really bites!  haha

Ok I cracked into (man Add Product being broken sucks) Jennifer Armintrout's "Queen of Light" the first in the lightworld/sarkworld series. Though I'm less than 30 pages in. I just have to say wow.. somewhere don't know if she hiding them or recently discovered, but major world building chops.  If it holds out definately moving up my author skill level ladder.

A few of our bookstores have it so I'm hoping to pick it up soon.  :-)  Just finished Kitty's House of Horrors...WOW it was VERY good!!  Only took me two days to eat it up it was that good.  Cracking open Tempest Rising now since everyone is raving about it.
